At H.P. Therkelsen, we place great emphasis on delivering a high and consistent service to all our customers.

We are certified according to IFS Logistics 2.3, a certification that controls and ensures food safety throughout the logistics chain.

The IFS standard was developed by the major food chains in Germany, France and Italy and is a recognised certification used in many parts of the world.

The IFS standard sets requirements for, among other things:

- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

- Transport equipment

- Calibration of measuring equipment

- Hygiene rules

- Traceability

- Staff training

- Continuous training of staff

To maintain certification, we are audited annually according to the requirements of the standard. The audit takes place without warning, which ensures that we maintain the high standard at all times.

All tasks are carried out in accordance with the regulations set by the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders - NSAB 2015

Transport tasks are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law on freight agreements for international road transport - CMR

H. P. Therkelsen's 55 dispatchers and freight forwarders always ensure that your products reach their destination safely and on time. The products are also delivered with documentation that the food has been transported under the right temperature conditions and an unbroken cold chain. So, you don't have to worry about a thing.

All our trailers are equipped with two temperature zones, making it possible to combine multiple temperatures in the same transport. For example, you can combine refrigeration and freezing in a trailer using a thermal partition.

We always provide the necessary transport documents and are in constant contact with our customers, business partners and trucks on the road. This ensures that you don't have to worry about anything when you leave the logistics to us.

All tasks are solved using advanced IT systems and include, for example, EDI integration and web booking to ensure seamless communication.

We can also handle other tasks than just transport for your company. We can therefore also offer to take care of many of the logistics functions for your company. For instance:

Forecast

Keep track of stock and inventory and notify your production facilities if we can see that products are going to be out of stock.

Coordination of production units

We can ensure close co-operation between your production units and the amount of goods in stock. This way, we make sure you don't experience empty stock or product shortages.

Order fulfilment

We have many years of experience in freight planning, and with that experience we can ensure that the correct goods and correct quantities leave the warehouse and arrive at their destination on time.

Warehouse management

We can keep track of your products, both at our warehouse in Padborg, but also at external warehouses elsewhere. We ensure that there will always be the right number of your products in the warehouse, so you can safely and securely handle other tasks.

Planning and booking transport

We make sure to plan and book the right transport for your products so that there is no shortage of goods at the final destination.

Customs declaration

Should it be necessary to obtain a customs declaration for your products, we can also take care of this. This may be necessary, for example, if the products are travelling to a non-EU country such as Switzerland.
