At our fresh fish terminal in Padborg, Denmark, fish from Danish harbours are collected and distributed throughout Europe.

In connection with the handling of fresh fish, we can also offer the following services at our terminal at Padborg:

Storage

We can store the fresh fish in our temperature-controlled warehouse in Padborg. The warehouse fulfils all food control requirements and is periodically inspected to maintain a high standard.

Sorting

At our fresh fish terminal, we have the ability to sort your products to ensure that you receive the right quantity in the right place.

Icing

If you need to add more ice to the boxes of fresh fish, we can do that too. Our staff will always make sure to check the products received so that there are no problems with the transport or quality.

Preparation of customs documents

If the destination of the transport of fresh fish is a country outside the EU (e.g. If the destination of the transport of fresh fish is a country outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland), customs documents must be prepared for the transport. Should this be necessary, H. P. Therkelsen can prepare and submit these customs documents.

Collection of “flying fish” from Danish airports

We can arrange for the transport of your products from both Danish and European airports and transport them to our warehouse or the destination of your choice in refrigerated trailers.
